I have a potential client who would like to have a directory created; he would like pay per click added.
He also wants to be able to accept credit card payments.

Is this possible with DewNewPHPLinks?

Of course anything is possible, but those features would need to be custom written.

The script already counts outbound clicks, so you could perhaps, create a new mysql table to keep track of pre-purchased and unpaid clicks.

Credit card transactions are particularly involved and I'm afraid there are limits to how much help I can give for free on these forums. If you are unfmailiar with that type of programming, I'm afraid I can really only suggest outsourcing portions of the project.

Possibly there is another free/open source script out there that is closer to meeting your needs, but I'm not familiar with one.

My suggestion would be to outsource your pay per click and credit card client's needs to Dewed! Can you do that for him Dewed?

Writing a credit card widget from scratch?.. Can I? well yes, do I want to ? um, not really. I've dealt with 3 or 4 different merchant account providers and .. well lets just say they are not fond memories. They are all proprietary, use different terminology for the same things... ugh, I still have the dents in my desk that match my forehead.

About the only positive experience is a drop in widget for OSCommerce and Authorize.net , both the widget and Authorize.net work exactly as advertised.

For stuff like that.. or anything that is beyond my capabilities or patience, I outsource it on Scriptlance via that pretty banner in the upper left, I created that banner for them btw

I don't blame you for saying no especially if you have had experience with "those types" of clients. btw, nice lookin' banner!
