My Site Has Been Hacked! 7 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 3
I recently had my website hacked (once again!!) and asked for some help from my host's technical support (or lack of support) team. Here is the response I got:

QUOTE:
Someone is trying to hack your site. Please secure your account using the security guide at below link:

http://www.jaguarpc.com/support/kbase/731.html

Make sure that all the web applications installed in your account are latest and have no security breach.

Well, I responded and asked them to please give me a more generic answer, no really, I asked for more help but they responded that they do not support other scripts that I have installed on my site.

Fortunately, I was able to fix my dew-new php links portion of the site but coppermine photo gallery and wordpress are still screwed up! This is really depressing as I have blog posts and photos that go back to 2005!!! Sounds like its time to give up on those scripts which I cannot figure out how to fix and don't have time to fix them if I could figure out the issues anyway so time to use flicker/photobucket and blogger.com!!!

Ouch! Anyway, the above link for how to secure up your site may or maynot be helpful to you...not helpful to me but I wanted to rant and share this crap with you all anyway!
