Keep in mind that the "/directory/" portion of the URL you use to view the script is not an actual directory, it is a PHP script lacking the .php extension, so ... if you use www.mysite.com/installed/directory/ to view the script, you would use www.mysite.com/installed/admin/ to access the admin panel.
