/directory not found || RESOLVED 1 Year, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
Just installed Dew-NewPHPLinks (2.0.1.0b SEF w/Thumbshots) using my hosting providers Fantistaco installer .. when I try to go to the site to see what the public will see.. I get "The requested URL /links/directory/ was not found on this server" where /links is the directory it was installed in.

Is there something more I need to do to get this to work?

====================

Duh! After another 30 minutes of searching .. I have found an answer .. trying it now.

====================

ok .. found a previous posting with this same problem .. it sited editing the .htaccess file (see: http://www.dew-code.com/content/view/14/25/)

that was done and still it's not working .. get the following error:
-----------
Not Found

The requested URL /links/directory/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache mod_fcgid/2.3.5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.XXXXXXXXXXX.com Port 80

==========================

Sorry ... having been up for 3 days .. I guess I should have read to un-comment the right line.

Yes I am tempted to make the FAQ link RED, FLASHING and blatantly obnoxious

If you have suggestions on how FAQ entries can be made more clear.. and more findable, I'd be happy to hear them.
