The script installed with a ton of categories that I don't want. When I try to delete a top level (like Arts), it tells me that I have to delete all the subcategories first. I don't want to sit and delete 60 subcategories individually. Is there a way to delete all of the data and start new? I don't want the default categories; I want to make my own.

Depending on your version, there may be Modules button, from there you can load the reset module to reset various counts for clicks in/out and flush some of the MySQL tables the script uses, including links and categories.
