One suggestion I would like to make about this site it the favicon.ico that is being used...

The file is a 16x16 pix *.ico file which I created in photoshop and saved from photoshop using a plugin to give me the ability to save ico files right out of the photoshop application. The file was created using a 188x188 pix TIFF that is layered and uses courier bold. I have the layered file available online if you have photoshop and would like to make alts.

also, I noticed that you did change the favicon for the site, very nice! Looks good.

yeah you were right the previous one was just a quick placeholder.. Honestly it looked great at 128x128 pixels, but you can only get so much out of 16x16 .

I took your contribution as a sign, it was time to redo it. Not that yours wasn't nice,
I guess I'm just going for a somewhat aqua/blueish look.

BTW, the addition horizontal bars you above and below the words "Main Menu, Downloads" etc.. A complete accident, but I kinda liked it, so I left it.

the horizontal bars do it for me, I need more organiation in my life and less time spent looking for this and that. also the horizontal menu bars on the left work for look and feel too- compositional.
