Just wanted to give all you inspired coders a little tip that has saved my tail end more times that I can remember.

Let's say that you are going to make a change to a php file...

Before you make changes to a php file, save a duplicate of the file, change the file name of the duplicate by adding today's date then affect your original file with your changes. The idea here is if your mods to the original file don't work, you can always revert back to your original file that you saved as a backup.
