Theme Disappears and then returns 3 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello

Well I have tried everything I know to fix this problem. I hoping someone here can help.

Install went perfect. Link Directory comes up fine. All configurations look ok. Checked HTACCESS & DIRECTORY files. Seem ok but....

When I click on "What's New" "What's Cool" ect (all of them) I lose the theme I'm using. I tried all themes. Then I noticed that after you click "What's New" and then hover over "What's Cool", you can see the address adds "directory" to the address. So If I click on "What's Cool" it will look like this --- > http://www.seafasttraffic.com/links/directory/directory/cool.html

If I click on "What's Popular" it will add another "directory" onto the address link like this ---------- >http://www.seafasttraffic.com/links/directory/directory/directory/popular.html

Every time you click on a menu it will always add onto the address. I tried all the lines in HTACCESS to see if that will solve this issue but did not.

I looked over all the configurations and I don't see problems. Maybe I'm just missing something, I'm sure I did

You can see what happens here ------ >http://www.seafasttraffic.com/links/directory

I'm hoping someone can help

Thanks

John

Double check the base url and base path in the configuration page from the admin panel..

In your case,
Base URL = http://www.seafasttraffic.com
Base path = /links

Hi Dewed!

Thanks for the reply. Yes my Base is URL = http://www.seafasttraffic.com
Base path = /links

I looked everywhere to find where the problem is. Did you see what it was doing? That's the only issue I have and then it goes online.

Can you think of anything else? I also removed everything and re-did the install and still the same problem.

I added some files for you to look at. Maybe i'm missing something there.

Thanks

John

From just viewing the HTML source, it appears the base url is still incorrect.

Code:

<BASE HREF="www.seafasttraffic.com/links/">
Please triple check that you have the full URL in the base url field of the configuration page, including "http://" Without it, browsers can not locate the style sheet or correctly deduce where a relative linkshould lead to. Also, click the inbox link to the left, I sent you a message
