Are these modications hard to accomplish?

1) Remove all things related to reciprocical links. Don't use them.

2) Change the field type of "Description" from textarea to normal varchar text field.

3) Make the drop-down menu of "Country" to use my own text values, not the gif flags.

4) Change the layout from:

Field names "Description" and "Country" will be renamed.

Hrm... hard.. not particularly, but I'm afraid this amount of customization help is beyond what I can provide via this forum... but..

easiest way to populate the Country drop down with your own values is to simply rename the gif images.. "My_new_value.gif" etc. then delete any you don't need.

removing reciprocal links involves editing numerous files, as well as removing the whats cool page/links since they'd be pointless.

Much (not all) of the text can be modified by editing the language file, /includes/language/english.php

The entry layout is set by the function "draw_sites" and "draw_search_sites" inside the /include/functions.php file.. which can be pretty complicated depending on your familiarity with PHP.
